Warriors on Waste
The aim of 'Warriors on Waste' started out to teach the next generation of mini upcyclers how important and fun it is to upcycle and turn trash into treasure. I want to inspire children to be better caretakers of this wonderful planet. I taught about plastic pollution, sustainability and gardening and visited many schools on my 'Saving Nemo Tour'.
But it’s grown…. and through WOW I am now also involved in lots of community initiatives. I regularly run paddlebard river cleans on the Thames, last year I ran the Henley Regatta River clean with Sir Steve Redgrave cleaning the river after the Regatta and have lots planned for the summer of 2023.
I have also been campaigning against the water companies polluting the Thames and for bathing water status here in Henley on Thames.
Wow- Warriors on Waste is now recognised as a force for good, a movement where like minded people can come together to help be the change that they want to see.
